The TEDxColombo App provides information about TEDxColombo events, programmes, speakers, schedules, announcements, and featured talks.

TEDxColombo is an independently organised TEDx event operated under licence from TED. The TEDxColombo App is managed by the local TEDxColombo organising team and is not operated by TED Conferences, LLC.

For the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, the TEDxColombo organising team is responsible for deciding how personal information collected through the app is used, subject to applicable law.

When we receive and verify a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymise the relevant personal information unless it needs to be retained for a legitimate legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or other lawful purpose.

Where information must be retained after a deletion request, we will retain only the information that is reasonably necessary for that purpose and for as long as required or permitted.
