Who can apply?

TEDxColombo accepts Speaker & Performer Applications from all geographies, age groups, and genders. We also accept applications in all three local languages of English, Sinhala and Tamil. If you know someone who has an idea worth sharing or if you have an idea yourself, we want to hear from you.

How does it work?

A Speaker Callout document was provided for all the details on our theme, event and of course, how to submit the application. Please note that multiple nominations/application for the same person does not give them a higher chance of being chosen – one detailed nomination will suffice. Once the callout deadline is reached, the team will shortlist potential speakers and invite them for interviews. If chosen to be a TEDxColombo speaker, speakers and performers will need to commit to a minimum of 3 months for speaker coaching prior to the event as mandate.
